Career and Technical Education - CTE

Career and Technical Education - CTE, education that provides all students opportunities to engage in academic and technical skills, knowledge and training for future careers outside of high school.  Our CTE programs have rigorous standards directly aligned with state standards and 21st Century Leadership skills, as well as opportunities for students to earn college credits.
Please visit with the school counselor to learn more about the CTE courses being offered for the current school year.

The criminal Justice class got to experience lifting latent fingerprints last week.

Students are working hard on completing a step-stool. This project involves multiple gluing, clamping, layout and cutting skills mainly with the band saw. Students chose this design and created 3d plans for the project themselves.

HS Shop students are progressing along in their skills and moving on to more advanced projects.

Computer Animation students are currently exploring advanced animation principals. The first project involved a rotating engine assembly, where all you needed to do was rotate the crankshaft and the piston, cam and valve assembly moved by itself automatically and in sync. The second project uses a physics simulator to make objects automatically interact with one another. Here students are creating a rube goldberg machine.

RTI students drew sketches and converted them to a laser engraved piece of art, complete with frames.
